Did anyone see the season premiere? It was a lot different than last year's beginning, because the casting directors picked the semi finalists instead of celebrity judges. Some were good, but I don't know if they'll find anyone really talented. Hopefully the winner will be better than Dat Phan. (uggh) Last Comic Standing

Dat Phan came to talk to my small school last semester. Not sure if that's any indication of how his career is going post-reality-show. And Ralphie Mays is performing in Lansing next week.
I starred in a short film called Magnetic Personality. Check it out!

Rich Vos is on "Tough Crowd" fairly often. I really thought he was gonna be the winner last year.

Do you have a boisterous laugh, or were you hiding behind your fingers and shaking your head alot?

I have to say I laughed about 5-7 times tonight. That's funny stuff.

I hope the comedy gets better as it goes on. I don't think I even cracked a smile, from the parts that I saw.

There were a bunch of comics the night I went who left a lot to be desired... I really wasn't feeling it for them. But there were quite a few I really enjoyed... and did laugh hysterically.

The "mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy" chick was on the episode I went to... god she was annoying...

i had never seen this show before. it was pretty interesting. American Idol has given us our fair share of bad singers. but bad comedians? there's entertainment!

The celebrity judges are gone because Drew Carey and Brett Butler went public about how their choices were ignored, and the producers chose who they wanted instead. Specifically, a gay comic was eliminated, even though Carey and Butler picked him as their favorite. Instead, a more "family friendly" comic advanced.

I guess the "small print" in the credits said that the celebrity judges could reccomend who they thought should be chosen, butr the final decision is with the producers.

Ant (the gay comic) is back this year. I wonder if he makes it into the house this year...

I loved the political comedian that was just on...Will Durst, or something like that. He did the Bush as Rain Man routine that was hilarious!

CJR, I'm pretty sure "your" episode is on right now. Is your icon a picture of you, because I've been looking, but nothing yet!

Yeah, my icon is a picture of me... and that was my episode. I just finished watching it. I was shown briefly a few times, but not long enough for people who don't *really* know me to be able to catch me.

I actually missed one of the times I was shown... my grandmother called me and was like "Hey! You're on TV!!! Why are you on TV??" lol
