OK, so what was up with One Small Step the Musical with Alice Ripley and Rebecca Luker? So there's a cd out there? Does anyone have any other news but that it was cheesy as all get up?!?!

well i was coming across a video i had when sure enough alice ripley and rebecca luker in ugly wigs singing cheesy songs and the astronauts flying on the letterman stage, while the singers all turn and point to the flying men, it was hilariously cheesy, alice wore a black wig and rebecca had a horrible brunett one. this was before side show, but i'm asuming after the secret garden, hum...

I know the one you're talking about, Rob :) It was not a real show. It was a skit on David Letterman about 8 years ago. Many people were fooled into thinking it was an actual Broadway show.

Yes, "One Small Step" featured Alice Ripley, Rebecca Luker, Daniel McDonald, Marc Kudisch and Jonathan Dokuchitz. It aired May 19, 1998, in case you're into exact details.

Letterman had a few Broadway musical parodies. And does anyone remember a couple appearances by the boy band Fresh Step, which was really some of the Footloose boys and Matt Morrison?
