What are great, super dramatic boy/girl or boy/boy duet scenes from straight plays written 1900 or later? Ideally something really moving or intense! Thanks!
I don't have a specific response, but your post made me think of the Dramatic Duet or Duet Interpretation category in high school forensics (speech team) competitions, something I performed in long ago. Playing around with different Google search terms likely would yield a decent list of popular or award-winning scenes/shows.

There are literally thousands. What ages/types are you looking for?
Mary Page Marlowe- Scene 7 Rabbit Hole The Goat: of Who is Sylvia- The Martin Stevie/ Martin Ross scenes A Dolls House Part 2- the scenes with Torvald and Nora
Time Stands Still- any of the scene with the main couple Oleanna Torch Song Trilogy part 3 scene 3
Thank you all! I completely forgot to list the age range, ideally the 15-30ish range. These have all been super helpful and I'll be sure to look into them more!!
I think the scene between the Gentleman Caller and Laura from the Glass Menagerie is a wonderful scene. Also, I absolutely love the final scene from Butterflies are Free. Good Luck!!!
