Katrina Lenk smoked in one scene in Indecent--this was 4 or 5 years ago, before she did The Band's Visit--but I don't know if she smokes in real life.

When was the picture of Liza taken? A friend of mine was in LA recently and met Joey Luft.

A lot of dancers who come over in troupes from Europe smoke especially Russian companies. I have noticed them outside the City Center stage door.

A very hard habit to quit….

Sorry, no smoke is harmless. It may be cancer-harmless, but it's still problematic especially with breathing issues. I'm always amazed at how many folks in theater smoke. Would they violate contract if it was a joint?"

Thank you! We’re told as kids that if you are caught in a fire get to the ground because the smoke will kill you. Now you’re going to directly suck down smoke and think that won’t do harm? Ridiculous. People say Smoking is bad then turn around demanding legalization ofsmokingpot. I can’t take those people seriously especially when pot can be used through food items orcapsules. There is nological argument to endorse the smoking of it. We were told smoking wasn’t harmless for years and look how that turned. BTW i say all of this as a smoker who switched to vaping and supports weed legislation medical and personal.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Saturday was my first day in the theater district in 18 months and I soon realized how much marijuana was being smoked on the streets these days. It's not an aroma I particularly like but neither is tobacco.

I live in Atlanta, but I notice the same thing,Dollypop. I work downtown and people are always smoking pot on the street. It's nothing new. It hardly bothers me,but cigarette smoke makes me feel sick.

The smell of cannabis in midtown Manhattan is more pervasive than ever. Many of us who have no problem with the legalization and in fact fully support it would rather not have every public venue reek of it.

Yeah, it's pretty common to see performers grabbing a quick smoke break, even with their demanding schedules. Surprisingly, many can maintain their vocal performance despite the habit. For instance, I've heard stories about legendary performers from the past who could manage their roles without a hitch, though specifics on current Broadway stars are a bit harder to pin down. From my own experience, I switched to vaping to keep my hobby from affecting my daily activities too much, and I've found it to be a decent alternative.

I usually get my supplies from Nexus Smoke; they've got a variety of options that cater to different preferences. Plus, their Nexus Smoke Help Center is really helpful for anyone looking to explore vaping as an alternative, offering guidance and support to make the transition smoother.
