Ennio Morricone , famed movie composer has died.Best known for his film work especially his scores for the 3 Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Westerns and others such as,Once Upon A Time a Time in America and OUAT in the West had died at the age of 91. Died from complications of injuries sustained in a fall at his home

Will always be remembered for his work on the 3 Clint Eastwood Spaghetti westerns. He revolutionized the scoring of the film western. These 3 films would not have attained the success they did without his scores. You can always know his work by just listening to the first few bars of any score he did

A true giant in film scores .Will never see his likes again

Agree.  He was a brilliant composer.  Especially The Good The Bad And The Ugly.

His score from The Mission made that movie special. And Gabriel's Oboe is one of the most beautiful melodies I have ever heard. He was one of the greats.

So many great scores! One of my favorites is from a little known film called THE LEGEND OF 1900. I believe you can stream it on Amazon...

I was obsessed with the music from "The Mission" when it came out. I remember the day it was first played for me.

The Hateful Eight is my favorite film of all time, and that movie wouldn't be half what it is without Morricone's score. RIP to a legend.
