Hello I am a bored theater geek obviously, and I just wanted to ask if you guys knew any websites, YouTube stuff, etc where I can watch musicals/plays?

I already know about the shows must go on, but is there any websites or YouTube channels that have musicals or plays?

-You can find a ton of bootlegs on youtube if you know what to look for. (Sometimes they can be tricky to find as their often listed under something other than the actual title of the show, to minimize their chances of getting taken down/and or aren't publicly listed). But if you just search "broadway bootlegs" there's many playlists with lots.

-BroadwayHD is a streaming service with a fair amount of stuff, although almost nothing that is currently running on Broadway. (The one exception I can think of is Phantom, but it's the 25th anniversary Royal Albert Hall, so a completely different cast and stuff). Costs $8.99 a month with a one week free trial. (There might be a longer free period currently, I'm not sure). Way fewer options there in comparison to bootlegs, but significantly better quality. Has shows like Phantom, Falsettos, An American In Paris, Miss Saigon, Kinky Boots, Cats, etc.

-There's some stuff on Disney+ - I know the Newsies proshot (and the movie) are there, I'm not sure what else other than of course pretty much all regular Disney movies. BUT the Hamilton proshot with the original cast comes in a month!!! A few things on Netflix, but not a lot.

-The website filmedonstage.com has a continually updating list with various streaming shows. Some free, some paid, some available for only limited time, some forever, depends.

you found your heart but left a part of you behind <3

Thanks! I have Broadwayhd. Honestly, even though I've seen a lot of people who hate on Broadwayhd, I really like it
