Actress Ja’net Dubois passes away at 74

Actress Janet Dubois was found dead in her California home today, apparently dying in her sleep. No known cause of death at this time, but friends and family say she appeared to be in great health.

Dubois is best known as Wilona Woods from the hit comedy Good Times from 1974-79, and writing, composing and singing the song Movin on Up for The Jeffersons. However, she was also a musical actress on Broadway starring opposite Sammy Davis Jr in Golden Boy from October 1965- April 1967. Back then she went by the name Jeannette Dubois.
