This is one State of the Union address I am NOT going to miss. Wonder if he will go completely off the rails? I don't watch "The View," but I enjoyed their chat.

Just wondering if you think this would have been a good play if Speaker Paul Ryan stood behind President Obama and ripped up his SOTU speech,I highly doubt it. It would not take you and others on this board more than 1 second to be saying how disgusting, racist and disrespectful it was. BTW - I thought the Republican jerk who yelled "Liar" at President Obama during one of his SOTU speeches was wrong and glad he was called out for his disrespect. It really saddens me that both parties at the SOTU can't respectfully listen to the speech and applaud when it is obviously a good thing that both parties should be happy about.

Compared to the horrendous damage Trump has done to our country, making us look like a complete fool, working for a country that is not the United States, actively committing crimes, rigging our elections, yes, I am THRILLED she embarrassed him and hopefully got under his skin.
Quit acting like the Trump and the current GOP are anything normal, they're an active criminal enterprise at this point. Anything to take them down, beat them down, anything. I'll gladly take it.
Also, what is their to be happy about Trumps speech? A speech that was filled with lies should be celebrated?
An actively criminal President and GOP are NOT to be celebrated. Glad you only now care about people who act slightly out of line when the President has been a blatant racist, homophobic, misogynistic, a'hole. If you only now care about people acting out of line where the F were you the last 5 years? Remember when Trump made fun of the man with special needs at his rally BEFORE he was President? God you're pathetic. Nice try though! Ripping up a piece of paper is really bothering the GOP, god they're so weak and insecure lol.

I don't think SHE got under HIS skin; quite the reverse. The White House is using photos of Pelosi ripping up his speech to fund-raise for his reelection. And let's face it, she ripped up the speech because of her own frustration; her failed impeachment attempt, the debacle in Iowa, Trump's highest ever approval rating on the eve of his big speech, and then to top it all off, one of the most incredible, dramatic, moving, and thrilling State of the Union speeches in history. It was the straw that broke the Speaker's back. And she cracked. (You could see her cracking throughout the speech; making faces, rolling her eyes, mumbling and talking to herself). And she will never live that moment down.

When Trump's replaced by a real president, I'll tune in again. He's an aberration.
