I was there last night. The delay was not due to lines. I was in the theater arouund 915. By 945 there was no more line. I found the entry process fairly painless. I didn't get in line until a little after 9 and the line was moving very fast. I don't know what it was like earlier in the night, but by that time they seemed to be well staffed and have the system down. Most seemed unfazed by the delay but some were angry. The people sitting next to me left before it started.

She apologized for the delay during the show. Basically made it sound like they were still putting on finishing touches up until the last minute. She made a comment like "the show isn't even done yet". Now part of me wishes I didn't see it opening night.

I thought the show was great. Frozen was one of her best live performances ever. Iconic. The venue worked for her. She sounded great. Interacted with the audience a lot. Other highlights for me were Batuka, Crave, Come Alive, I Don't Search I Find, and Like a Prayer. What the dancers do with Rescue Me made up for the disappointment it wasn't a full performance of the song.

I know I wasn't a fan of the some of the Madame X music before the album came out but I ended up enjoying a lot of it after it was released. I'm glad I went. I think those of you who have tickets are going to have a great time.

Erik972, Did you happen to notice if the box office was open?  The representative I spoke to a couple of weeks ago told me they don't sell tickets the night of the performance.  He also stated if the show has already started that many times they do not let people in.  That it was up to the discretion of management.  I found his statements odd.

I can't say for certain they were selling tickets but the box office was open. I don't know about after the show started. It was open before the show though.

Totally a millennial thing, but like if I go alone and don’t have my phone... I feel like I’m just gonna be waiting for hours with nothing to do.

Get to know the person sitting next to you. You can also easily access your phone in the lobby if you need to. Alot of people waited for the show to start in one of the phone access areas.

It was nice to watch a show without a million cell phones waving in your face.

I’ll bide my time shopping the merch booth and, also, isn’t there a sit-down cafe inside BAM? Once your ticket has scanned, can you access it (and even take your phone with you)?

I don't think you can access the cafe from Howard Gilman. But like I said, if you want to use your phone you can do it easily in the lobby.

Regardless, I’ll have a great time both times. I have a VIP ticket on October 1 so should have easier entry than some have. I actually have a front row non-VIP ticket on Oct 3. I remember the days before social media and cell phones so I’ll be fine. I’ll get a drink or two, shop for merch, visit the bathroom, and talk to seat-mates around me. I just hope I don’t get any whiners around me complaining about the late start time.

I looked at Stubhub for tonight's show.  Never bought from them but was curious.  There were tickets as low as $50.  Not sure what the total amount would be with fees.  I just find it funny, there are Ticketmaster resellers still listing their tickets for Sunday's performance as high as $2-$3 thousand dollars.

Yeah, in some of those cases resellers are probably just trying to recoup if they got VIP tickets. In other cases, they list the ticket high in hopes to lure in one sucker then gradually reduce the price as the date approaches. Hell, I saw one person trying to resell a front row ticket for $12,000 for one of the Brooklyn nights.

If you have a VIP ticket you get pre show access to a lounge where you can use your phone.

I have the lowest priced VIP ticket so I don’t get access to pre-show reception, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed for lounge access.

A lot of reviews of the show ate popping up all over from the likes if the Times, EW, the Atlantic & others. BUT they are full of spoilers so I won't post them here.
It will be interesting how it plays in some of the bigger venues, like at the Coliseum at Caesar's Palace where I'll be seeing the show. Even the Chicago Theatre is pretty damn huge.

The weekend she plays Vegas is the same weekend that the top 5 winners of America's Got Talent are doing their prize winning stint at the Paris casino. I only kind of watch bits of that show if I happen to flip past it, but thinking about seeing one of their matinees.

Also, wondering if chances are good that she will start late everywhere? Dionne Warwick has 8pm shows that weekend at Cleopatra's Barge in the same casino. If Madame X doesn't actually start until 10, I wonder if I can see both the same night?

From pics I’ve seen online, there’s a bunch, as usual. Several styles of t-shirts ($35 on-line so I’m guessing same at show), tour jacket (either $170 or $175), coffee mugs, water bottle, pins, poster, eye patch, hoodies (~$65), sleep mask, Too faced makeup kits ($75) and much more.

I’m going on Sunday. I just arrived in NY tonight. Just wondering if someone who’s been can clarify the situation with the tickets. A couple of months ago, we got sent tickets from Ticketmaster that I saved on my iPhone’s Wallet. Are these the tickets we use or are we getting sent new tickets that have a random generating number or something? I’m a bit confused from what I remember when I first got the tickets.

Can anyone help clarify things for me? Since I don’t have a SIM here, all I can do is take my phone and show them the tickets oh my iPhone Wallet that I got a couple months ago.

I’m not sure that gong to work. If you look at your Ticketmaster app, click on “My Events” then click on “Madonna - Madame X Tour” then click on “View Barcode.” That’s what you’ll need to show them. I did check by turning off my WiFi and cellular service before clicking on my Ticketmaster app and it still gave me access to my barcode so you should be okay there even without a SIM card. Just try it with then without your hotel WiFi to be sure.

Enjoy the show! I’m looking forward to seeing her twice very soon.

Are you able to see the changing barcode in the app now? If so, I’d swipe out of the app, log off WiFi then try again. If it’s still there when you go back into the app, you should.be okay.
