Hey! I saw a casting call on Playbill's website for an equity audition. Can you still attend if you're not equity? I'm pretty sure you can actually go but what are the chances you'd be turned away/wait all day and not be seen?? Thanks in advance!

You can attend. You *will* have a long wait. You may or may not be seen.

Welcome to the life of the non-equity actor. It all depends on how busy the audition is, you might wait all day and not get seen or, if it’s not busy you might not have as long a wait.

I've seen some very helpful posts on this website: http://www.auditionupdate.com/ re: whether casting is seeing non-AEA, and other details. I know a lot of non-AEA friends go to the calls very early and just sit and wait (like the other posters have said). Hope this helps!
