Another restaurant recommendation request... I am sorry. But I have friends coming into town late September and they've asked me for some recommendations. They're seeing Hamilton one night and the other night is free. So the Hamilton night - it would be best to be around the theatre district... any ideas? And the other night can be anywhere. They are real foodies - so looking for an extraordinary dining experience particularly on their free night. Big wine afficienados as well (hence why I'm asking you because I'm happy at a deli). They've been to Per Se. The only thoughts I have are Le Bernardin and Nobu. I've recommended Buvette for brunch. Another one on my radar is The River Cafe. It would score big for ambiance but I don't know what the food is like? Want to stay in Manhattan. any suggestions are most welcome!
Atomix in the NoMad is getting a LOT of foodie buzz. Also, check out the menus for Gabriel Kreuther, Le Coucou, Eleven Madison Park. There's a tasting menu available at 16-seat Gem, opened earlier this year by 19-year old Flynn McGarry. Advance rezzies are a must. The Four Seasons has re-opened in a new location, but I don't believe their menu has been posted yet. The restaurant that took their place is called The Grill. I haven't been but many people like it. As for River Cafe, I haven't been in a number of years. I really loved the food and ambiance, but it may not be as exotic as a dedicated foodie would prefer.

Thanks so much. Those are all great suggestions. I will pass along!
