I just finished watching the OLC of Kiss of The Spiderwoman and noticed that Molina rarely leaves the stage in the shows 2+ hr runtime.  I think even in the 2nd act he’s nearly on stage for the whole thing.  Does anyone else find it interesting that this doesn’t come up in discussions about most demanding Broadway roles?  Even if he’s just standing there listening to Valentin he’s acting and reacting.  When you think about it the show really only has 3 leads who have to carry and move the plot and minus a few numbers there really aren’t any spots for them to get breaks.  What are other peoples opinions on this?

It’s a great role. I don’t think it’s very demanding vocally, but emotionally, he goes through quite a lot! It’s too bad the show isn’t produced that much, as it really is a beautiful piece and a great showcase for the three leads.

After the opening number, both Brad and Janet rarely leave the stage in Rocky Horror.  Each gets a break in the second act for one number, but that's it.
