Hello! Yesterday was the open call for the title role in DEH's national tour, and I heard rehearsals start in early April, if that's true, I'm assuming updated information would be quick? Does anyone know anything? I sent in a video via email, and didn't get any confirmation that they received it. I'm new to anything to this caliber, so does anyone know the amount of future rounds for the part of Evan?

(side note, submissions were due 2/23 but there was no date on it when I got the info, so I sent it 2/24, and I don't know how serious that is...?)

Any information is beyond appreciated. Thank you so much.

If you don't hear anything, you're in the majority and you didn't get it.

that simple, welcome to the biz!

Sage advice. So, start working on your next project right away. Sitting by the phone will drive you insane. You keep moving forward, and then let them catch up with you, if they want you.

You missed a deadline, you missed the part.  Don't be late.  Welcome to showbiz, once again!

There were well over 400 guys at the in-person open call, so odds of your submission even getting watched for more than a few seconds are slim.  And just so you know, usually nothing ever comes of these open calls for Broadway shows.  It happens, but is extremely rare to even get a callback from something like this.
