I have posted a similar topic a few years ago, but thought it was worth bringing up again.
I'm a 29 year old heterosexual male hoping to find a partner who shares my love for theatre. Surprisingly, I have found that challenging living on Long Island. I am aware that these boards welcome people of all ages and sexual identities.
I was just wondering if anyone here had any thoughts on that.
I believe he is looking for a heterosexual female who shares his love for theater. Of course for any relationship to start its course, you need to share more things in common than just theater, Well as I write this I think I am confused also. Do you want a partner, gay or straight to attend the theater with you? Or as I mentioned above a female heterosexual who shares your love for theater and looking to start a relationship with?
Usually theater-loving straight guys are a hot conmodity!
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Although this post sounds like in semi is personal ad I'm also interested in hearing if others on this page share the same frustrations.
I of course realize that, although I may be wrong, it seems there are not many straight guys in their 20s-30s on this page into theatre like I am."
You are looking for a girl who's into theatre? No offense, but there has to be more to it. Your interests are far from strange or uncommon. You live in NY, where there must be hundreds of women looking to date and enjoy a live performance.
I'm thinking you need a new Tinder profile.
