I love the score to this show and very much regret missing the original production, so news of this revival is exciting to me. While I've been to London several times to see shows (I live in the U.S.), I'm not familiar with the Charing Cross Theatre. A look at the venue's website indicates that the theatre is quite small and I'm concerned that this revival will be a rather small affair that might not warrant a trip across the pond.
Does anyone know what typical productions at the Charing Cross Theatre are like?

I attended the Wednesday matinee and it was a beautiful song production with an amazing cast. The theatre is off the Strand and very intimate with fine views from all seats. A decent size cast with full orchestration played to as full house . In the evening I saw The Grinning Man which will be a hit for sure. The Ferryman ,Ink , Everyone Knows About JAMIE and Pinocchio are all winners too
Saw it last night and loved it. Never cared much for the original West End show but it works so much better in this production. Packed with wonderful performances. And Carolyn Maitland is magnificent as Marian Halcomb.

Thanks folks! I so want to see this, but it doesn't appear to be in the cards for me to get over there in time. Has there been any talk of a transfer to the States?
