I for sure agree with Phantom.  I think one of the major appeals of it when it first opened was the tech element to it.  I saw it in Februrary and while the cast was great, it felt tired and low energy.  I was so bored I couldn't wait till intermission.  I'm also not sure if its just that theater (I sat a few rows behind where the orchestra slopes up) or the whole sound system, but I couldn't understand a WORD anyone was saying.  I honestly got very lost in the story.  I really think that its kept open because of tourists and TDF.  I actually got my ticket from TDF, because I figured its affordable enough for a classic show.  A lot of people there had obviously never had any experience with the theater at all because there was a complete lack in decorum.  For example, one guy started talking to his wife during one of the last songs in act 1, because he thought the act was over.  He got up, goes "OH" and sits back down.  Ok back on track this isn't the thread for rants about theater etiquette.  My main point is that I also think Phantom is HIGHLY overrated.

HAMILTON. A good show but over hyped.

I like Book of Mormon, but I'm a bit baffled at the overwhelming love it has after watching it a second time. The songs are catchy, but a lot of the humor feels really forced in the book, and I never felt myself truly caring for the characters.

The Book Of Mormon- The first time I saw it, I thought I'd love it, because of the amount of hype it still continues to get, but I was unimpressed. The humor got very old after a while, and I just couldn't get into the show. Not a fan.

Come From Away- I tried to love this show, I really did. With all the hype that it's been getting, I thought I would love it. But when I saw it, I couldn't wait for it to be over. The whole show was just overall extremely boring, characters got confusing, and the choreography was a mess. The only saving grace, IMO, was Jenn Colella. She was amazing.
