For the last couple weeks I have been kind of waiting to hear if a new show was going to open in the Booth or Circle In The Square this summer. Does anyone have any information? If something was going to open in June, would they have made an announcement by now? Or is it not surprising that no information has been released yet? Thanks for any insight!

I would guess that those theatres will be sitting vacant for the summer. It's a tough time to open a new show unless you are transferring a show that was already a mega-hit elsewhere (such as the case when Hamilton opened).

THE BAND'S VISIT is expected to take the Circle in the Square in the fall once Tony Shalhoub finishes filming his TV series this summer.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.

Thanks for the insight, I just assumed they would plug something in for a limited run for the summer like a play (maybe Othello at the Circle) until the new season in the fall.
