Hi all. Has anyone rushed BEAUTIFUL lately? I know it's Tue-Thu only (is this still the rule),  but has anyone had any luck getting rush closer to curtain?  Thanks.

Got a rush ticket at half hour a few weeks ago.

I was told at the box-office during the holidays that it's every based on availability, which is contradictory to what it says online, but I guess in the end the box office people are the ones who give out the tickets. They were actually selling out during the holidays though, and didn't have any rush tickets (they don't set any aside, or at least didn't then). I haven't gone back since, but it's good to know that it (occasionally) works shortly before curtain.

starcatchers, do you remember what day you went and if evening or matinee?

It was an evening show. I believe it was a Thursday?

Has anyone tried for a Saturday matinee or evening RUSH? Box office says RUSH is offered for all shows, wanted to see if anyone knew a good time to get to the box office by on a Saturday, Thanks :)

In my experience, they usually don't have rush for weekend performances, but they usually have standing room.

I would check the ticket availability shortly before you would leave for the box office, or the evening prior, to see how it's selling. If it's close to sold out they will likely not offer rush tickets. It'll also give you an ides where the seats might be if they do offer rush. Mine was rear side mezz and I could still see very well, I don't think that's a problem. But be prepared for a seat like that on the weekend, if they offer it at all (yes in theory, in fact based on availability).

For anyone interested... I went today around 11 and got a ticket. The Sondheim box office folks are the best.
