How has nobody posted about what's happening in Paris? Just awful, terrifying and shocking. Sending prayers to Paris

Probably because most people don't get their international news on an off topic theater board? Rest assured, it is very big news here and people are quite concerned.

I no longer make political posts as I have divorced myself from all things political so I did not start one. Now that you have started a thread, I can post here.

Please take a moment of silence for those innocents who died. Keep them and the people of Paris in our thoughts & prayers. Wishing this is brought to a conclusion A.S.A.P. and the city gets back on its feet.

Something tells me that the Parisian peace symbol above would not carry much weight with those who staged these attacks tonight.

Over 150 dead so far according to the media, heartbreaking. Can't help thinking the US and UK will be next since they are targeting those taking them on. Bloody cowards.

Nobody was having a go at anyone, it was just an observation that I was suprised nobody had posted yet, but you turn it in to what you want Namo, you focus in your silly snide remarks whilst 150 lay dead.

A coward is someone who runs from danger. That's hardly what they're doing. Surely there are better, more apropos insults than to call them "chicken."

Basically this is the off topic board which means we discuss anything here, including this tragedy. It makes me shudder to realize how unstoppable these heathens seem to be.

Coward is very apropos

When you have a gun and randomly shoot innocent people you are indeed a coward. They have a gun and the victims have no way of fighting back. How brave would these scum be if they had no weapons?

Basically, at least three of the attacks took place at entertainment venues, one was a theater. Mostly young people were the victims.

Well, for one, I wouldn't call a suicide bomber a coward.

I have no idea. But speaking as a coward myself, I think there are worse things to be. Most people are cowards, it's just how we're wired. I don't think it's useful to speculate how mass murderers would feel if they had no weapons, or if their victims had weapons. Bravery seems irrelevant to me.

Good God, 153 people were brutally murdered in Paris and y'all are fighting each other over nothing! Have some dignity!

My heart hurts for Paris and the victim and extra prayers are going out to them tonight

I think the arguments we're  having are related to what happened in Paris and to terrorism in general. I'm sure that no one here is cavalier about the events tonight. Is the casualty number up to 153? Im watching MSNBC and they're still at 120.

Most people are cowards, it's just how we're wired.

Not Ben Carson, if he had been there he would have said, "Guys!  Guys!  They can kill a lot of us but they can't kill all of us!  Let's charge the men with the machine guns!".  It's so brave to speculate from the bubble that is your vapidity.  Oh, I just brought up Roxy again didn't I?

ABC's 20/20 is saying the 150+ number.
