Hey New Yorkers, I'm travelling to NY from Australia at the end of August/early September and looking to buy some tickets for Hamilton. Can anyone who has already seen the show at one of the Previews, or is familiar with the sight lines of the Richard Rodgers theatre advise on whether I should try the extreme side Orchestra seats - A11 or A12 for example? How much action will I miss on the side of the stage? Is seating on either side of the theatre preferable for this show?

Would love to get some opinions from some regular theatre-goers.

I saw If/Then in side orchestra twice, once in seat B12 and once in seat A8. I saw the entire show perfectly! For the price you pay for those seats its amazing!

I'm looking to buy Hamilton tickets, and have been perusing stubhub. The only options in my price range seem to be within the first couple of rows in the Rear Mezz sides.

I just noticed that some seats are available on Ticketmaster for a comparable price but are in the Orch - Row U extreme right. Since I've never been to the Richard Rodgers before, could someone please guide me which seats would have the better view. Thanks!

Apologies for hijacking the thread, OP. Was trying to avoid beginning a new topic...

Bump. Would still appreciate some more opinions on these extreme side orchestra seats.

I've sat in the extreme sides at the Rodgers for Heights and If/Then. I remember the view being obstructed for Heights and fine for If/Then.

I recall most of the staging being fairly centered so you wouldn't miss too much. There is some action on the second level at the sides (at least stage left) you might miss from house right--not sure about house left. I haven't sat at the far sides so I can't say for sure, but for this show if I had to choose between sitting at an extreme side in the front or in the mezz / rear mezz, I'd choose to be closer.
