Has anyone had luck with upgrading seating (mezz to orchestra) at Bullets Over Broadway? My girlfriend and I were gifted tickets, and due to a recent knee surgery stairs and I don't particularly get along.

It depends on how many empty seats they will have plus finding a sympathetic usher.

Call Telecharge, they are very easy about such things (although they will pretend to get approval from their boss or somesuch). You will need the order number and such, though.

If you have/use crutches since the knee surgery, just be honest with the house manager. Tell him/her the tickets were purchased before your surgery. You cannot climb stairs. I am sure they will relocate you to orchestra. A few seats are not sold for situations such as this. Bullets is not selling 100% capacity, anyway. Enjoy the show, I thought it was great.

Another good thing to know at the St. James - there is a handicapped bathroom to the right of the interior doors, just past the coat check at the top of the stairs.

Thank you all for the advice, I will definitely talk to the house manager when we go on Sunday.
