Thursday, November 22 WATCH? The 86th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will, as per usual, be chock-full of Broadway talent! Shows expected to perform during the NBC live broadcast include Annie, Bring It On, Elf, Nice Work If You Can Get It and the upcoming Cinderella. If you're in New York, you can watch the parade live and in person as the procession goes from 77th Street and Central Park West down Sixth Avenue to Macy's Herald Square on 34th Street. (9 AM-noon, NBC. Info.)

"I'd rater be nine peoples favorite thing, than a hundred peoples ninth favorite thing"
Words don't deserve that kind of malarkey. They're innocent, neutral, precise, standing for this, describing that, meaning the other, so if you look after them you can build bridges across incomprehension and chaos. But when they get their corners knocked off, they're no good anymore…I don't think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.
Newsies and Elf both performed last year, but oh well. It is always my favorite part of the parade. Would have loved to see something from Christmas Story.
