I'm coming to New York the weekend after Christmas. The prices for most shows are crazy expensive, and most discounts aren't going that far yet.

I'm trying to think what my best option would be. Does anyone know what TKTS is like around Christmas? I feel like with everything being extra expensive, it might be a longer line, etc at the booth.

Does anybody have any suggestions? Or any tips about going to NY around Christmas?

There are very few discounts as Xmas. Don't expect there to be many codes -- it's high tourist season, and they are out to make a pretty penny.

Yes, lines at TKTS can be expected to be longer, with fewer shows being available.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

You might want to try www.broadwaybox.com and see what kinds of discounts are available there.
