I am sorry but 46 is not too old for anything. And as far as why he is doing this now.. maybe he didn't want to do it till now? God Bless him. I can't imagine he needs the money and I am sure he knew there would be nasty queens with hearts full of bitterness waiting to attack just like they have done here. He seems like a very nice man ( and very cute as well). I wish him the best of luck . ( wether he is living in the East or West Coast PJ. )
I had to look up Pelt. I think he has a fuzzy mid belly button trail. But not sure. He is really cute. I've seen him at the gym and around town. And I wouldn't throw him out of bed for eating crackers.
I don't much about Pelts, but I do love the Muppets and I do know that...
"Music is an essential part of everything we do. Like puppetry, music has an abstract quality which speaks to a worldwide audience in a wonderful way that nourishes the soul" - Jim Henson, creator of the Muppets.
Judging by the amount of views and comments Jason's YouTube EP teaser is receiving... souls are being nourished.
As for comments about Jason's age, let us not forget these wise and inspirational words from T.S. Eilliot....
"It's never too late to be what you might have been".
This gives me hope that Carrie Fisher will finally record a collection of standards.
"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter
"Don't die with your music still in you" - Wayne Dyer
"I was recently asked why I was doing this now . . . and the answer is simple: to explore the part of myself that always wanted to make music. I finally got to the place in my life where the fear of not being good enough was not as great as my need to express myself. It’s taken a long time to recognize that nagging voice of judgment, self-criticism, and comparison was not a loving one, and to take contrary action.
The French philosopher and Jesuit priest, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, wrote, “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.” I now know a big part of this human experience has been the journey of finding my own voice, both literally and figuratively. For some of us this happens early in life, and for others later. May your music not die in you either. Thanks for listening... With Love, Jason"
