I'm not sure if there is a thread for this (search and off-topic stuff are not buddies), but what did everyone think???

And Ed Weeks... I mean, my God

I watched it on Hulu a few weeks ago and liked it. I didn't rewatch the pilot tonight but I'm going to watch next week.

I think there was some discussion about it when it leaked 3 or so weeks back (or I guess that was a Hulu release? We don't get Hulu in Canada and I just came across it). I liked it--largely due to Mindy herself, but I found it fun and largely charming, though with room for improvement. I know critics have liked it, lainly, but those who haven't hate that she's still persuing a romance--but I think Kaeling is smarter than that (and anyone who's read her book, knows that she does love rom coms, and is aware of the fact that there's a bit of a dichotomy between being "that" type of woman and a career woman, so obviously that's some of the point).

Like Phyllis, I didn't watch it again today, but will watch next week.

I had trouble understanding the dialogue. Everyone seemed to talk really fast and garbled. Blame the actors or blame the sound crew?

Maybe both? Mindy seemed to be talking a little quicker than usual. Chris Messina (the guy that's gonna take a person out of that person) was probably filming The Newsroom around the same time, so he could have still been caught up in the Sorkin-style of fast-talking.

I really liked it. I had high hopes for both this show and The New Normal (both shows featuring an ob-gyn. random.) and was frustrated when I found out they were airing the same time, but there is definitely a clear winner in what I will watch live.

I heard it fine. Maybe it's a hardware or body issue?

I liked it a lot. It's a good set up for more conflict down the road and it was really funny. Mindy has the it factor that makes you root for her even as she makes worse and worse mistakes.

I didn't have sound issues, but they all were talking very fast. I'll be curious to see if they slow down the tempo a bit after the pilot.

Still digging it. And Ed Weeks makes my heart palpitate.

I hope they don't rush towards the inevitable Mindy/Danny coupling. I think their interactions are fun now.

Watched the pilot and didn't care for it, but I'll give it a few more episodes, if for no other reason than to stare at Chris Messina.
