The Lyons Lonely I'm Not Porgy and Bess How to Succeed... Spider Man End of the Rainbow In Masks Outrageous and Austere Newsies
I have a feeling that the last 3 won't be to my liking, but i would like to hear any recommendations or suggestions.
It looks like you prefer plays...so definitely should see The Lyons. I haven't seen it, but I've read that Ms Lavin quite good in this show. After that I would recommend Porgy and Bess. One of my clients told me that it was a "life changing theatrical experience." Of the rest, I would pick Newsies, but I love musicals and great choroegraphy. I hope you have a wonderful visit, and I would like to say WELCOME TO NEW YORK, in advance.

I'm jealous...the most I've ever managed is about 6 days/9 shows!
Did you mean TDF or Tkts (standing in line?) Many of the shows you listed are not regularly available on tdf.
From your leftover list: The Lyons -- I've heard Linda Lavin is fabulous Lonely I'm Not -- good word of mouth so far (some VERY good) Porgy and Bess -- I liked this a great deal! How to Succeed... -- fun, most people think Jonas is doing great Spider Man -- blech End of the Rainbow -- not my cup of t In Masks Outrageous and Austere -- ?? Newsies -- its cute at best, harmless -- but not great theater.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

see Porgy and Bess, it's under appreciated. Lyons is my choice for play, I hear great things about it. I saw both Daniel Radcliffe and Jonas in How to Succeed and preferred Daniel. Unless you're a fan of Jonas I wouldn't recommend it if you're not crazy about musicals. It's a great show overall though. Jesus Christ is an amazing show also, and I thought it was better than Evita honestly.
@dramamama611 you are right i meant Tkts. I may buy an discounted "Best Man" ticket online, but i hope that i'll be able to find tickets for the rest. I have the same feeling about "End of the Rainbow" and "Newsies". I am almost sure i won't like them. "In Masks Outrageous... is the news (!lol) Tennessee Williams play, which has it's world premiere. It stars Shirley Knight but i hear really controversial things about it.
LOL. I knew that about Masks (that it was Tennessee) but I have heard almost nothing about it.
Most of the discounts you can find will bring the price to what you will pay at tkts -- and then you won't waste time standing in line. (Just a thought.)
Have a wonderful time.

I think that if you're a big fan of Tennessee Williams, ...Masks would be worthwhile. I've been tempted by it, as I was obsessed with Streetcar when I was in college. The things I've heard and seen have been not very promising though...essentially a big misfire. You might be able to look up "ON STAGE's" review on line. Search NY1 On Stage if interested.

The discounts i found (broadwaybox) are for example
Nice Work If You Can Get It discounted ticket: 70-100$ when the regular ticket is 87-137$
the price at the tkts (if 50% off) would be around 44-69$. Isn't that right?
Similar prices with Peter and the Starcatcher.
I would love to avoid the usually long lines at the tkts.
I am a Tennessee Williams fan, but i am really worried about his later plays, especially the ones that he never finished like "In Masks...". I am afraid they produced it because they wanted the "world premiere of TW last play" label and not because it is a worthwhile play. However i would love to see "The Notebooks of Trigorin" - his version of Chekhov "The Seagull"- performed on stage.
go see end of the rainbow, it was good, and i LOVED Streetcar named desire, I cannot believe it got mediocre reviews, It was really good. Definately see ONCE
You can get Nice work if you can get it rear mezz for 45.00 at the box office, and it's entire rear mezz not just last 2 rows
IN MASKS WAS AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought Porgy and Bess was bad, also AVOID Jesus Christ Superstar and Leap of faith
Linda lavin is really good in the Lyons, but the play when she is not in it is bad
don't expect too much from EVITA, this way you won't be too disapointed
