But, hermajesty, you're incapable of acknowledging any other points of view. You're rather bullying in insisting that every share your opinion, and you seem to think that no one else knows anything about Garland.

Surely you can see how that might lead to people making sarcastic remarks.

"guess nitpicking is a pastime for some on here."

Really?! Because you have been doing NOTHING but nick picking and forcing your view on everyone for pages now.

Can't you just grasp the fact that a lot of people do not like this show as much as you did?

I think everyone should have their own opinion, some like, some hate, but is there a need to in-still your opinion on others who may not have seen it yet, they may like it as 1000's of others have, or they may hate it as a few have......surely, it is up to the individual to make that decision themselves......negative comments, could cause damage to the show/play and prevent people from having that choice...... if you hate it, just say you don't like it, if you love it, just say you love it........

It's not called Judy-ism for nothing.

Proof that one bad apple does NOT spoil the barrel. That is one of my favorite posts ever.

"It's not called Judy-ism for nothing."

That's the worship of Judy Tenuta.

And 'Friends Of Dorothy' actually refers to Dorothy Parker, but people have managed to twist it around and they think it's about Judy Garland for years now.

The origin is much disputed, the two best theories being the Oz character and Parker.

The Oxford Dictionary, though, comes down firmly on the side of Dorothy Gale

Reg-

When Judy's own daughter tells me that is was Dorothy Parker and not her mother, then I'm going to go with that.

I wish we could ask John Lennon what he thought he meant when he wrote this little ditty:
John Lennon sings "She Is a Friend of Dorothy's'

Actually, this is the first time I've heard the term "Judy-ism" regardless to whom it refers. Still think it's funny regardless whether someone tries to stick a pin in it.

Oh, they are very cute sayings! It just makes me laugh because people never get them right.

It's like 'Supposedly vs. Supposably'

"Its either/either, must be UK/USA but guess nitpicking is a pastime for some on here."

Why is it considered "nitpicking" whenever someone cares about correct spelling, grammar, or anything related to the proper use of our language?

And BTW-your first word which is "Its" should be "It's." Also, did you mean to say "I guess nitpicking....?"

You're welcome.
