When I saw the national tour of Little Shop in Los Angeles several years ago, during one of the musical numbers Crystal, Ronette and Chiffon were dressed in sequin gowns and hoisted up on a hydraulic platform. I am assuming this was the same staging as the Broadway production in 2003.

Can anyone please tell which song that happened on? Also at what point in the song did it happen?

Thanks.

It happened during "The Meek Shall Inherit" after Seymour's solo, right after the line "Without my plant, she might not love me anymore." It's when the girls come in again for the chorus, but the tempo is slower and Seymour and Snip have dialogue over the girls' singing.

It was during the last chorus of The Meek Shall Inherit after Bernstein, Mrs. Luce, & Skip Snip pay the girls off for leading them to Seymour. After Seymour's mini-soliloquy, they emerged on the platform behind him to sing the last chorus.
