Is this the Broadway production? I would actually travel to Madrid to see this!

Is this going to be like the Spanish production of A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum, where songs from Sweet Charity were interpolated to make it more commercial?!

Not the Broadway production but a very legit production directed by Mario Gas who has done a lot of Sondheim in Spain. It's on at the teatro Español until April and stars Vicky Peña who did Desiree in Night Music and Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd. An interesting cast member is Massiel who won Eurovision in 1968 - not sure but I imagine she will be Carlotta. Here's the link to the info in Spanish if anyone is interested.

I love the simplicity of the poster.

Could also be used for 'Gypsy'!!

Been looking at the videos of this on here and am getting s teeny bit excited - the set is perhaps not what I expected but the actors and the direction seem to be spot on. Off to see it next Saturday so I will give my humble opinion when I have seen it.

Thanks! I tried getting this thread up 2 days ago but couldn't find it!!
Anyways.....

The video is from the open dress, one of them.
It looks great, the theatre is stunning, maybe looks like something that was lost to a car park many years ago!
A friend of mine was at this dress and said it was amazing.
I'm going on Tuesday!

'got my tickets for Feb 18th (25% discount if you book online atm)'
Prices are laughable!!!!
