I know this is probably a long shot, but has anyone seen a discount for Hugh's show? Not sure if I can swing a full price ticket -- so I thought I'd check before making my final decision!
TIA.

That was my thinking as well....I figured it was worth a shot just in case.
For the prices they are charging, I might indeed miss this one -- pretty outrageous and I seldom enjoy myself from the back of the mezzanine.
I'll think on it a little more.
Thanks for responding!

Why not check the reviews of the San Francisco and Toronto shows, especially Toronto where he had incorporated changes to the show? It seems he has won over not just the audiences but most of the critics, too.
I have seen the San Francisco show and I am looking forward to going again in New York. He was brilliant and engaging onstage and the show is not to be missed! For the price of the ticket, it is a real steal
If the price tag is too high, the price tag is too high. I'm sure a Maserati is "worth it" -- but I'm still not buying one.

The final week of tickets are on sale now and for some reason no one has been buying the last row of seats on the final performance January, 1, 2012 ($68.50). That may be an option.
Really good seats have not yet been released for the last week. I'd hold off if location is a factor; if mostly cost, I'd still hold off and wait for same-day standing room. Ideally I'm trying for a combo of such tickets.
Good as the show was in San Francisco, it was somehow even better in Toronto--every flaw jettisoned, the good stuff became brilliant. Can't wait to see what's in store for NY.
I don't live in the city and won't be there much before noon on the available date, so SRO isn't going to be an option -- and I wouldn't want my day to be consumed with line standing. I know I won't be happy in the rear of the Mezz -- so I'll skip this one. Bummer, but it is what it is. If I can't afford the seats I would be happy with, life will go on.
