Hello all! Thank you in advance for your help. I have a quick set of questions for NYC residents or frequent travelers: What is the city like over Labor Day weekend? Is it inundated with tourists or has the summer rush subsided?

In looking at my calendar, that may be the best time for me to make it this year, and I want to know what might be in store!

Thank you!

David

tourists everywhere, just like tumbleweed . But as Southern and Midwest schools have started back by then not really too hateful. Just hateful enough

you are welcome. Years ago that used to be one of the quiet weekends in the city, but now that everyone seems to be on a rolling break (vacation) it is not as subdued. Although by Sunday eve and then throughout the day on Monday there is an exodus. If you come, enjoy your time here.

I have been going to NYC on Labor Day weekend for 15 years, the weather is always just perfect. Tourist there of course but no more than usual in the summer. And Brazil Day is often that weekend too so it's pretty crazy!
