Did anyone attend? Was Barbara Cook on hand? Curious, due to her recent surgery.

Thanks.

I wish I could have attended, but I had a busy day yesterday that didn't need to get any busier. I'd love to hear a report if anyone went.

From Harvey's Facebook page:

Highlight of today's memorial for Jerry Bock was an audio recording of the composer himself singing SUNRISE SUNSET for the first time to send to Sheldon Harnick for lyrics. Brilliant, heartbreaking, perfection.

I was there, sadly Ms. Cook was not present even though she was listed in the program. But the highlights were the recording of Jerry Bock singing "Sunrise Sunset", Harvey singing "If I were a Rich Man" and Kate Baldwin singing "Ice Cream". Overall it was a nice tribute to a great composer.

I wish Barbara a speedy recovery from her surgery, and look forward to her new album that is released today! Wish I could have been there to see the other speakers and performers.
