"For me, THEATRE is an anticipation, an artistic rush, an emotional banquet, a jubilant appreciation, and an exit hopeful of clearer thought and better worlds."
~ an anonymous traveler with Robert Burns
"People have their opinions and that doesn't mean that their opinions are wrong or right. I just take it with a grain of salt because opinions are like as*holes, everyone has one".

I'm really tempted to go to Raleigh for this. I saw Marti Webb originate the role as part of Song and Dance in the West End years ago. And I like Lauren Kennedy.
"The script has been completely Americanized and fitted to Kennedy's persona, turning Emma into an optimistic innocent from North Carolina gone to the Big Apple to seek her fortune in the theater."
WTF? She's not an English girl who's come to America anymore? Did Andrew Lloyd Webber approve of this?
"I'm seeing the LuPone in Key West later this week. I'm hoping for great vocals and some sort of insane breakdown..." - BenjaminNicholas2
^^Kennedy was just in "Good Ol' Girls." It wasn't "her" show, but she was the star. I saw it - she was very good in it, it was decent. Nothing to rave about.
There's a cast recording coming out August 30th I believe!
just got back from seeing this show! it was so great! the Kennedy Theater is such an intimate space and i love the feeling of being 5 feet away from Lauren. She is such an energy to be around! her singing was superb and if i didnt already have plans, i would see it again! See this show!!!!
