I was wondering if I could get some help choosing seats for BE in August. I have the choice between row A (2nd row) seats 109-112 and row Q (17th row) seats 101-104. Anyone have any thoughts that might help me decide? Wasn't sure if 2nd row is too close to the stage or the conductor could perhaps be distracting from this location? Or should I take advantage of being so close? Thanks in advance for any help :)
IDK if it's just the way i am but i suggest that you don't go 4 either bcause if your in A, and if ur someone who likes to see the feet when they're dancing (especially when tapping)you might be 2 close. I guess Q is fine bcause it's such a big theater, but 4 this perticular show, it's good to be in the Mezz bcause there's so much going on and u can capture it all up there!!!!

You see more of the choreography from further back. Personally I love to be right up front, but I have seen the show about 5 times and the first time I was about row 20 and loved it. Also is row Q aisle seats? that makes a big difference too. Either way you will love the show:)
It depends on your personal preference, but for Billy I'd recommend being a bit further back...front mezzanine is actually probably best, I sat row A the last time I saw it and it was perfect.
Because of dance numbers it may be better to sit further back then A, when you are close you tend to focus more on individuals and not a group as a whole. Further back you see the show as a whole, choreography and all. Maybe you can get closer then Q by getting two pairs back to back. Or off center or as someone suggested front Mezzanine, Row A mezz overhangs Row H in the Orchestra.
When I sat in front row it was amazing. I'd say go for A. You can see everything and you feel like part of the show. It's a great view, and you can hear the conductor singing along
We sat 4th row, and I wouldn't have wanted to sit anywhere else. Too far bag, you risk having too many heads in your way or missing the nuanced acting. I recommend you choose 2nd row.
Thank you so much to everyone for your input! It was a huge help! We went ahead and grabbed the 2nd row seats...they seemed too good to pass up. Can't wait to see the show :)
