I have watched this move for years every December. My parents taped in when it originally came on television. I love it, and Angela is fantastic. I had no idea that Jerry Herman wrote the lyrics. That makes me love it more!

Haha, that movie's classic. Terrence Mann played the evil toymaker... I've always both loved him and been EXTREMELY creeped out by him in everything he does, ever since I was little.

I have an old VHS with "Beauty And The Beast: A Concert On Ice" taped on it. It was a way of getting interest in the Broadway show about a year or two after it opened.

Now, there was a commercial for Mrs. Santa Claus on it, and I never thought twice about it because I was so young when it first was shown. It wasn't until 3 years ago, when I went searching to find a copy or youtube it, but nothing was there. Then about 2 years ago, they released it on DVD, and I have now introduced it to my Christmas tradition.

It is also the other Christmas film I watch in the summer, along with White Christmas.

It's not a perfect movie but Lansbury is charming, Herman wrote a contagious title number (as always), and Terrence Mann and Michael Jeter are wonderful.
