Still not optimistic about this musical but that is one cute photo.
And Sieber is one of those guys who just gets humpier with age and weight.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

Anyone wanting to see Brain D'Arcy James on stage again -- before Shrek -- should run, not walk to the Atlantic Theatre to see his perfomance in Port Authority along with John Gallagher, Jr. and London Olivier winning actor, Jim Norton. It's a series of monologs, but so brilliantly spoken in flawless Irish dialect -- who even cares what it's about?
such a hot cast. and Chris is awesome! but looks so tan in that picture. I almost didn't recognize him.
<--- the set of A Midsummer Night's Dream that I was assistant stage manager for during the 2007 season at the STNJ outdoor stage.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree. ~Dirty Rotten Scoundrels~
There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel. ~Curtains~
It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known. ~A Tale of Two Cities ~
A young actress with Noel coward after a dreadful opening night performance said to him 'Well, i knew my lines backwards this morning!''
Noels fast reply was ''Yes dear, and thats exactly how you said them tonight'!'
Aw. I love that photo. Now im even more excited for this show than I was. I really hope it's recieved well.
"You will understand that Bww is a forum that allows Theatre people, Fussy old Queens, and chorus boys of Mama Mia to release their everyday life's frustration by being Snarky, B**chy, and sarcastic."

I was wondering what people were thinking about Shrek? I did a search and couldn't tell if people were excited or ambivalent. I already have tickets for Billy Elliot next year and was thinking I should purchase my tickets for Shrek now.
I really can't wait for this! The cast looks great, and the team is just so amazing. Also, from what i hear from my inside sources, the costumes for most of the non human characters will be large head masks and such. I'm actually starting to think the entire show might just try to make fun of other shows ala Xanadu or [title of show], especially family shows, which might turn out well.
The cast looks incredible in that photo but i'm still undecided about Shrek. They have a cast of amazing performers but that doesn't mean it's going to be an amazing show. (like Young Frankenstein)
