She was funny for the 2 minutes she was in it.Mabye interesting is the word I would use to describe it instead of good.

You know it just struck me who her co-star in that scene at the beginning of Just A Kiss is.He is the current Father Flynn in Doubt, Ron Eldard.I did not reaize it at first and it is so obious!

Wow... you all have some good and bad stuff to say about Idina huh? I know that "Fan Girls" as you referred to them, do scare me too. I mean being a FAN in gerneral kinda scares me. I know that I like Idina- but I would rather be considered a friend then a fan... you know what I mean? I can't believe that people actually go to shows just because they're gonna breathe the same air... But I think Idina is very talented and I would love to work with her. I think that people need to understand that she, and everyone else who is on broadway or in movies, is human... That helps me not go crazy all of the time... But Idina does totally rock.

I think it would be rather sad if anyone showed up at Taye and Andrew's Company's (Hello, awkward wording) show just because Idina said she might be there.
THAT being said, for some reason, I feel like Idina knows that the fact that she said that will encourage some who otherwise wouldn't be interested to come. So they might "bump into" her "accidentally." Or something.
People, People, this is clearly meant to be a beacon for the "teenyboppers." She's TRYING to get them to show up. Plus, have you guys realized that some of these "teenyboppers" have some, shall we say INFLUENTIAL parents?
"Fidelity is more than mere display, it's what a man expects from life. Fidelity, like mine to Desiree and Charlotte my devoted wife..."
Spare me the visuals. The bad (German?) accent just makes me want to diiiiie. Di is plugging for her husband. Word of note, Tollbooth Premiere is on one of those nights, so you might not breathe the same air with the second coming if you go then. <33
Is dre.dance in anyway related to Alvin Ailey or are they just performing in the space?
Sorry, my experiences will be limited to the NYC Ballet...sorry Di, this freak will not be there. Unless Taye decides to dance, then that's a different story... Updated On: 1/30/06 at 03:20 PM
Yeah, I think it is very cool of Idina to stick up for her husband. She is very devoted wife. I think people need to be pasionate about the shows they are going to see, not just the people... you know...

She is not defending her husband, she is promoting her husband. Which, I have no problem with. The issue is whether there will be people coming to a show which they will have no interest in because they think they might see Idina, which will most likely detract from other's enjoyment.
Maybe it will open some of her fans to other venues and experiences. Maybe they will go and only want to see her. Maybe they saw Taye on Will and Grace and want to see him.
Oh sorry... I typed the wrong word. I think its awesome that she is "promoting" her husband...(Sorry) But I totally agree that people should go see a show because they want to- not just because Idina will be there... Yeah that would be awesome to see her, but gosh, seeing a show should be the most important.

I think that anyone who can get a bunch of teenage girls to go see anything other than a big flashy production of Wicked deserves to be commended. Even if their wording is a bit misleading.

Well, I'm sure if you wanted to, you could go to Taye's show, follow him and Idina home, and then look at the address. Jsut kidding. Other than that I can't help you. I doubt this would work, but if you sent it to the Gershwin, they might forward her fan stuff to her.
And then, do you know Monseiur Marius, I believe I was a little in love with you.

Bottom line, I don't think that even the hardcore Idina fans in attendence will be there soley for the purposes of catching a glimpse of her...that would just be ridiculous, and scary. It's modern dance. Music by LaChiusa. But I remember reading before that it was going to be using some of Idina's music (and other people whom I do not recall atm)?
