I’m almost 61 years old, so thanks for calling me the younger generation. LOL
As for sitting through this “type of crap”, I could ask the same of half the shows that were playing on Broadway until this current shutdown happened. But to each his own. I bought the movie so I can watch it from now until the end of my life and at my hearts content anytime I wanted.
And I’ll definitely be watching it again this weekend - for the SIXTH time. Can’t wait!"
THANK YOU! I saw this movie twice in theaters and pre-ordered the 4K version digitally. I loved it and am not ashamed to say so just like I was never ashamed to admit loving the stage show in spite of a LOT of peer pressure to say differently. Believe it or not people are allowed to like what they like whether you agree with it or not. #CATSmovieloverPride"
Great point Bob. It always amazes me the people on here that attack and insult someone because their opinion of something may be different. In the twelve years of being on this board, I have never once questioned, corrected or insulted another Broadwayworld member's opinion whether they thought something was good or bad ( a Broadway show, movie, tv show or music), especially if I didn't agree. To me, everyone is entitled their opinion on something and whether or not I agree/disagree is irrelevant. On the rare occasion, I do say something critical to a poster, it is not about their show opinion. It is a response made to me first, when they think they can say something nasty or catty and think they can get away with it. While I am at it, I also in twelve years have never corrected anyone's spelling or grammar on here. If it is important to you for them to know they made a mistake, then send that person a pm. But I suspect many get a kick out of all of the above behavior. Is it immaturity, the need to feel superior or just being a queen?"
Last night, I watched 1945's LEAVE HER TO HEAVEN with Gene Tierney on Blu-ray. Great movie with three-strip Technicolor cinematography that can make your jaw drop!
Now tonight, as soon as my Instacart delivery of a nice Cabernet gets here, I'm going to dive into CATS. I can't wait! I hope it's everything that EVERYONE here as written about; the good, the bad and the ugly...
