I'm glad they changed it back to the way it was in the comics. Spiders don't shoot webs from their wrists.
If you had to name the part of the body that spiders do produce their webbing from with a part of the human anatomy then he should be shooting webs from his abs, which actually I wouldn't mind seeing.
Just got back from seeing it and LOVED it. They could have shortened some scenes in the beginning though. Andrew Garfield as Peter/Spidey.......Perfection!

Hm. I'm worried they're gonna force this next film into a twilighty angst-fueled love triangle. Hopefully they'll at least maintain the original story of the comics.
Shailene Woodley's a lovely girl but this is one of those situations where the MJ role is going to be problematic as it means that Peter Parker is going to have to turn his head from looking at a Gwen played by Emma Stone.
You sort of expect it. It is what she is most known for. Kind of like, you bring in Harvey Dent- we need to see how he becomes Two-Face (I am still sad Billy Dee Williams as Harvey Dent never got that turn) or when you bring in Bane you have to recreate the infamous 'He broke Batman' panel. Certain comic book characters have inescapable arcs.
I'm actually okay with this. If the rumors are true and they follow the comic's timeline for Gwen Stacey.....then it makes sense to have Mary Jane come in later. Too many love interests in one movie is not a good thing.
