The advertising was kind of/very misleading...all the posters and ads showed cast members jumping and smiling and dancing and it was all very happy. Has been running in London for ages but has recently been appearing on seat-filling websites.
I found it camp and silly...but I think that is the point. Is it the worst play ever? No. Should you see it? I guess so.
If you find yourself in London, skip Bend it Like Beckham the musical...truly God awful.
