re: Should I see SUNDAY (again) tonight?  Jun 19 2008, 02:15:18 PM

re: 'Sunday in the Park' extension #4?  Jun 16 2008, 08:33:55 PM
Singingbackup, I, too, had come across the August 31st page a couple of weeks ago hoping that the show would extend but when I called Roundabout they confirmed that June 29th is the final performance. I had flown in from Florida on June 1st to see the show and that was the day that the closing notice was posted backstage.
"In the Heights" Acceptance Speech Censored?  Jun 16 2008, 08:50:52 AM
While watching the acceptance speech for "In the Heights" the company chanted something in unison that was bleeped out on CBS. Can somebody fill me on on what was censored?
re: Sunday in the Park?  May 13 2008, 08:35:36 PM
According to Roundabout Theatre's website the last performance is scheduled for August 31st. Although tickets haven't been made available, I believe that they will extend once again.

First Performance:
Thursday, January 24
Last Performance:
Sunday, August 31

re: Gypsy Matinee Accident, and They Broke Character Too!  May 12 2008, 10:50:21 AM
Boyd gasped because it was actually his plate that rolled into the audience.

I was in the third row orchestra behind the young girl yesterday when the deed was done and I must say that she was a real trooper. It should be noted that not only was Julia Roberts there but also the beautiful and talented Angelica Houston was also in the house.

re: Original 'Sunday' dvd before seeing revival?  Mar 7 2008, 03:27:28 PM
On the contrary, I believe that this production is far more superior and more humane than the original. See this version first and then watch the dvd.

re: The RITZ DVD Kevin Spacey Sighting  Jan 24 2008, 08:33:53 PM
I could swear that it was him but am unsure. I know that he was heavily involved with theatre in his younger years and it would make sense but I still need someone out there to verify this spotting.

The quality of the DVD is better than I expected and is wonderful!
The RITZ DVD Kevin Spacey Sighting  Jan 24 2008, 06:22:14 PM
Just got the dvd of The RITZ and noticed a very young Kevin Spacey as one of the grieving Family members. He appears in the begining of the film. Does anyone know why he isn't listed in the credits or on IMDB.com?
re: Young Frankenstein violin?  Jan 23 2008, 08:32:18 PM
He probably didn't want to pay Morris royalties.

I believe she played the role of the beggar woman.
re: Sweeney Todd OBC Replacements  Dec 29 2007, 05:46:05 PM

Sweeney Todd OBC Replacements  Dec 29 2007, 06:31:35 AM
I was reading the posting about Dorthy Loudon replacing Angela Landsbury in Sweeney Todd and always wondered about the exact dates that the original Broadway cast members were replaced; ie: Victor Garber and Angela Landsbury. In addition, did Len Cariou play Sweeney for the entire run? Thanks for your help.
Out-of-Town Tours - Would They Fold if Local One Strikes?  Nov 13 2007, 09:36:46 AM
If Local One does issue a strike on the out-of-town tours as mentioned as a possibility in yesterday's New York Post, what is the future of these productions? Do they ride out the strike or do they just close down?
