South City Theatre presents the World Premiere of ZAP PRONTO, an original sci-fi comedy by Daniel Strickland.

If you only see one show this year, make it ZAP PRONTO!

Can Zap Pronto and Gale save the Earth from the maniacal machinations of the evil Emperor from the planet Pergo? Will the Emperor avoid the family tradition of regicide? Can a recent graduate with a philosophy degree find a decent job? Tune in and find out. Zap Pronto is a comic take on retro science fiction classics like Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers, with bits from classic comedy, lots of sci fi pop culture references, and fantastic gizmos.

Director and playwright, Dan has been involved with South City Theatre for almost 10 years, as an actor, set designer, director and props builder extraordinaire.

Performances will be July 25, 26, 31 and Aug 1-2 at 8pm, with a 2pm matinee on Sunday, July 27. Tickets are $15 for adults, and $12 for students and seniors.

Seating is limited, so reservations are highly recommended. Call 205-621-2128 or visit www.southcitytheatre.com for reservations.
