7th Annual Member Day Brings All-Day Access to Birmingham Art and Culture

Members of area arts and culture organizations are invited to enjoy special access to our city's cultural treasures during Birmingham's seventh annual Member Day on Saturday, July 23, 2011.

To thank current members and supporters of arts and culture in the Birmingham region, over 20 organizations have planned a special members-only day of free admission and family-friendly activities. One valid membership card and/or postcard invitation admits two adults and up to four children into any and every participating venue all day long. With the largest number of museums, performers, historical landmarks and attractions to ever participate in Member Day, it's one of the best ways to experience the incredible amount of talent offered by our region - all in one day!

Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum
Birmingham Children's Theatre
Birmingham Botanical Gardens
Birmingham Civil Rights Institute

Birmingham Zoo
Cultural Alliance of Greater Birmingham
Embellishments Handbell Ensemble
McWane Science Center
Metropolitan Youth Orchestra

Plus, those who keep their postcard and have it stamped by at least five of the organizations will be entered to win an ultimate cultural prize package worth over $1,800. Stamped postcards should be left at the final location visited.

Those who are not currently a member of a participating organization may join with any of the venues listed below before or on July 23 to enjoy the day's activities.
