The Vagabond Players continues its run of the hilarious Arsenic and Old Lace by Joseph Kesselring and directed by Sherrionne Brown. This 1940's classic with Victorian charm has been proclaimed an insanely funny production. If you want an evening of non stop laughter, gallop to the Vagabond Theatre at 806 S. Broadway in Fells Point. Performances run weekends from January 6 through February 5 with show times at 8:00pm on Friday and Saturdays and 2:00pm on Sundays.

Arsenic and Old Lace originally debuted in 1941 and was an immediate hit. The comedy combines the antics of two maiden aunts and their three nephews: Mortimer who is insanely in love with the girl next door; Teddy who is a delightfully insane reincarnation of President Teddy Roosevelt; and Jonathan, who is criminally insane and comes for a visit with his sidekick Dr. Einstein. True, there are a few dead bodies involved and the police come and go on a regular basis, but it is all part of the fun.
