DanceRINK Premiers 'Dracula' on Baltimore Stage

One of Halloween's classic characters is coming to the stage in Dracula, a unique dance/theater experience adapted from the 1938 vintage radio-play starring Orson Welles. Presented by danceRINK, the show will run Oct. 29-Nov. 1st at The Baltimore Theatre Project at 45 West Preston Street.

Director/Choreographer Scott Rink and Composer Scott Marshall have re-imagined the familiar Bram Stoker tale through the eyes of a 10-year old on Halloween Eve, with a killer combination of dance, movement and stunning images.

The show will feature a local cast of dancers including Baltimore youth Paul Hager, starring in the lead role of 10-year old Sam Hain.  

A Halloween Costume Ball for adults and children will be held on Saturday, October 31 at 7pm with proceeds benefiting danceRINK future programming.

Tickets are $100 per adult and $10 for children. Guests are encouraged to dress up in costume. The evening will include a performance of Dracula followed by a post performance party where guests can meet and greet the cast and crew, show off their costumes, enjoy food catered by Joe Squared Restaurant and more.  

Audiences of all ages are invited to join danceRINK as they journey to Transylvania in this humorous, scary and strikingly original production.

*DanceRINK will be participating in Free Fall Baltimore with a performance of Dracula on October 28; however, this performance has already sold out. Free Fall Baltimore is made possible by a grant from Mayor Sheila Dixon and the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts.
