Maryland Ensemble Theatre Presents COMEDY PIGS 18th Anniversary

Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) is proud to present The Comedy Pigs 18th Anniversary featuring the best of the Pigs with special appearances from members of the Pigs from the last 18 years. The anniversary will be celebrated with two nights of The Comedy Pigs all original side-splitting sketch and improv comedy. Formed in 1992, the group has performed at national comedy festivals, been featured on Comedy Central, and have been guests at the National Pork Producers Convention.

The current members of The Comedy Pigs: Tres Dillon, Paula Pitts, Anne Raugh, Thomas Scholtes, Laura Stark, Courtney McLaughlin, Franky Orr and Jeff Schnorr are thrilled to share the stage with Pigs past as former members of the troupe join in the hilarity. Friday, July 15th will be dedicated to the off the cuff comic stylings of the Pigs while Saturday July 16th will feature the best in sketch comedy.

For over a decade, Maryland Ensemble Theatre has been producing thought-provoking theatre, fun family entertainment, artist residency programs for public schools, challenging classes and the side-splitting Comedy Pigs. The MET is an artistic leader in the region and at the forefront of the creation of Frederick's Theater District.
