New York Theatre Workshop held it's 2018 Annual Gala last night, April 15. The gala celebrated John Tiffany, the Tony Award-winning Director of Once, which had its world premiere at NYTW, as well as Harry Potter and the Cursed Child; along with Barbara Cutler Emden, who is celebrating 25 years of arts advocacy and exceptional service on the NYTW Board of Trustees.

Audiences have started to listen again at Studio 54. That's because Children of a Lesser God is back, and it officially opened last night on Broadway. Directed by Tony Award winner Kenny Leon, Children of a Lesser God stars film and television favorite Joshua Jackson and breakout star Lauren Ridloff, alongside Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe Award winner Anthony Edwards, Drama Desk Award nominee and Obie Award winner Kecia Lewis, Julee Cerda, Treshelle Edmond, and John McGinty. Opening night is set for Thursday, April 26 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

Celebrities and 400 guests experienced an inspiring evening at The Plaza last night, in support of Point Foundation (Point), the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students of merit. The annual Point Honors New York event raises funds for Point's higher education scholarships, as well as mentoring and leadership programs.
