As a 14 year old youth, Walter was transfixed by his first Broadway Show, the original production of 'GREASE'. His Journey to celebrity photojournalism began that fateful night. Meeting, photographing and getting to know the cast inspired him to spend his professional life doing what he loved. Currently headlining in New Jersey with his partner Richard and family members Dali (Jack Russell) & Gala (Schnoodle). Recently he made his Broadway debut sharing the stage with Hugh Jackman in 'Hugh Jackman on Broadway' as well as receiving the Actors' Equity Association Gypsy Spirit Award. The Bridges of Madison County, the new musical based on the best selling novel by Robert James Waller, opened last night, February 20, 2014, at 8:00 PM at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). Four-time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara reunites with Bartlett Sher, the Tony- winning director of South Pacific and The Light in the Piazza, for a stunning new musical by the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning team of Marsha Norman and Jason Robert Brown. Last night, the Tony Award-winning score from Titanic: The Musical was performed live at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center, featuring almost the entire cast from the original Broadway musical, over 200 singers, and the enlarged forces of the professional New York City Chamber Orchestra. The production was directed by Don Stephenson, with Music Direction by Kevin Stites. Today, we're featuring Paul Lynde, circa 1981. A noted character actor with a distinctively campy and snarky persona, Lynde was well known for his roles as Uncle Arthur on Bewitched and Harry MacAfee, the befuddled father in Bye Bye Birdie - both the stage musical and the film-version. He was also the regular 'center square' guest on the game show Hollywood Squares from 1968 to 1981 and was the voice of Templeton the gluttonous rat in the Hanna-Barbera productions Charlotte's Web and The Hooded Claw in The Perils of Penelope Pitstop.
