Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show 'Best in Show' winner Banana Joe made his Broadway debut last night in Roundabout Theatre Company's critically acclaimed new Broadway production of Rupert Holmes' The Mystery of Edwin Drood. The first affenpinscher to win Best in Show, Banana Joe performed the role of 'Macaco,' usually played by Macaco, a 5-year old, 3 ½ lb Maltese/Yorkie mix, who generously agreed to take the night off to offer this once in a lifetime experience to Banana Joe.
Forever Dusty, the hit new musical about the life and times of legendary British pop star Dusty Springfield, celebrated its 100th performance with a one-night-only Sing-A-Long performance last night, February 13, 2013 at 7:00 PM. Audience members at this special performance were invited to participate and sing along to Dusty's greatest hits, including 'Son of a Preacher Man,' 'You Don't Have to Say You Love Me,' 'I Only Want to Be With You,' along with other classics included in the show, like 'Wishin' and Hopin,' 'Tell Him,' and many more.
NBC and Columbia Records just released the soundtrack for Bombshell, the musical within NBC's Golden Globe-nominated series television hit 'SMASH' (Tuesdays, 10-11pm ET), on February 12. In celebration of the release, Tony and Grammy-award winning music creators Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman and show star Megan Hilty participated in a meet-and-greet album signing at the NBC Experience Store in Rockefeller Plaza yesterday, February 13 at 5:30pm.

Primary Stages continues their 28th season with the 20th anniversary revival of All in the Timing by David Ives. Opening night is Tuesday, February 12. Directed by Tony Award-winner John Rando (Urinetown; A Christmas Story, The Musical),the production features Eric Clem (Blue Man Group), Carson Elrod (Peter and the Starcatcher), Jenn Harris (Silence! The Musical), Liv Rooth (Venus in Fur), and Matthew Saldivar (Peter and the Starcatcher). All in the Timing runs through March 17 at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel welcomes Tony Award-Winner John Lloyd Young for his Cafe Carlyle debut where he will perform his program 'My Turn.' Mr. Young opens at the Cafe Carlyle through February 23rd where he will be joined by GLEE music producer Tommy Faragher as his music director with a seven piece band including Mr. Faragher on piano/keyboards, John Putnam on guitar, Paul Socolow on bass, Eric Kalb on drums, Goke Erem on violin, Eddy Malave on viola, and Leigh Stuart on Cello. Patti LuPone created the role of Lucia in the new musical Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (music and lyrics by David Yazbek), for which she was nominated for Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards. She is the winner of the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Actress in a Musical and the Drama League Award for Outstanding Performance of the Season for her performance as Rose in the most recent Broadway production of Gypsy.
