The Public Theater presents the American play Eclipsed, written by Danai Gurira. Directed by Obie Award winner Liesl Tommy and featuring Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong'o in her New York stage debut, this powerful story of survival and resilience opened at The Public Theater earlier this week, October 14, and will now run an additional two weeks through Sunday, November 29.

The upcoming Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof will begin performances on Friday, November 20, 2015, with an official opening night on Sunday, December 20, 2015, at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). It will star Danny Burstein as Tevye, Jessica Hecht as Golde, Adam Dannheisser as Lazar Wolf, Adam Kantor as Motel, Alix Korey as Yente, Samantha Massell as Hodel, Melanie Moore as Chava, Ben Rappaport as Perchik, Nick Rehberger as Fyedka, Alexandra Silber as Tzeitel and more. The new Broadway production of D.L. Coburn's Pulitzer Prize-winning classic, The Gin Game, starring Tony Award winners James Earl Jones and Cicely Tyson, opened last night, October 14 at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). Andrew Lloyd Webber released a fully immersive 360° music video for 'You're in the Band,' a musical number from his upcoming Broadway show, SCHOOL OF ROCK - THE MUSICAL, today, October 14, 2015. Shot in a real NYC classroom, this innovative 360° video produced for the Broadway production is one of the first of its kind on YouTube or Facebook. The New Group will present the world premiere of STEVE, a new play by Mark Gerrard. Directed by Cynthia Nixon, this production features Ashlie Atkinson and Francisco Pryor Garat, and as announced, Mario Cantone, Jerry Dixon, Malcolm Gets and Matt McGrath. A limited Off-Broadway engagement plays November 3 - December 27 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (TheRomulus Linney Courtyard Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street), with Official Opening Night set for Wednesday, November 18. Clever Little Lies stars Emmy, Grammy, and Golden Globe Award-winner Marlo Thomas, George Merrick, Greg Mullavey, and Kate Wetherhead, with direction by David Saint. The open-ended Off-Broadway engagement of SHEAR MADNESS will begin performances October 22nd at New World Stages/Stage 4 (340 West 50th Street). Opening Night is set for November 11th.

The limited engagement of Fool for Love opened Thursday, October 8 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). 

PRINCE OF BROADWAY, a new musical celebrating the extraordinary six-decade Broadway career of producer-director Harold Prince, plays from October 23-November 22, 2015 at Tokyu Theatre Orb in Tokyo, Japan and November 28-December 10, 2015 at Umeda Arts Theatre, Main Hall, in Osaka, Japan.
